Robert Fowler

Professor Robert Fowler is a critical care physician and H. Barrie Fairley Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto, chief of the trauma-critical care program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He was a collaborator with the former APPRISE Centre of Research Excellence.
Professor Fowler’s research includes work on infection-related critical illness and global infectious diseases outbreaks. He has described clinical characteristics of infections, treatments and outcomes for people who are critically ill with infectious diseases such as SARS and influenza.
