Tiana Parashko

Profile

Tiana is the Aboriginal Population Health Programs Co-ordinator for the South-Eastern Sydney Local Health District and has an MPH from the University of Sydney. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she established the Aboriginal Support Team in the District to ensure that culturally appropriate and tailored support was provided to COVID-19 cases, their families and the wider Aboriginal Community. She wants to ensure that Aboriginal communities receive equitable support in pandemic planning and response.

Tiana is a member of the FIrst Nations Pandemic Research PreparednesS NeTwork (FIRST) Governance Group.
