Robert James

Robert is a Torres Strait Islander who lives and works as a clinician in remote communities in North-East Arnhem Land, NT. He is also a PhD candidate at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne. He wants to draw together Yolngu health workers and Traditional Owners to provide valuable stories about the COVID-19 pandemic on Yolngu Country. He is also keen to help grow a cohort of Yolngu researchers to define and conduct meaningful research in the region.

Robert is a member of the FIrst Nations Pandemic Research PreparednesS NeTwork (FIRST) Governance Group.
