Ruby Biezen

Dr Ruby Biezen is a Qualitative Senior Research Fellow in the Department of General Practice and Primary Care at The University of Melbourne.
Dr Biezen’s research interests include antimicrobial stewardship, respiratory tract infections in young children and preventative healthcare in the community. She was involved in the General Practice–National Antimicrobial Prescribing Survey and the development of a clinical decision-making tool to assist GPs in their prescribing of antibiotics.
Dr Biezen is the lead of the OUTcomes POST COVID (OUTPOST) pilot study, a project in the APPRISE Long COVID Initiative.
