Martyn Kirk

Professor Martyn Kirk is Professor of Applied Epidemiology at the Australian National University. He is a member of the APPRISE Education and Training Advisory Group and a collaborator on a project in the public health and key populations pillars of APPRISE.

Professor Kirk’s research focus includes diseases transmitted by contaminated foods, waters or environments. He has investigated a wide range of infectious disease outbreaks including Legionnaires’ disease, cholera, trematode infections, salmonellosis, shigellosis, and Campylobacter infections.
