Martyn Kirk

Professor Martyn Kirk is Associate Dean (Education) at the Australian National University. He was a collaborator with the former APPRISE Centre of Research Excellence.

Professor Kirk’s research focus includes diseases transmitted by contaminated foods, waters or environments. He has investigated a wide range of infectious disease outbreaks including Legionnaires’ disease, cholera, trematode infections, salmonellosis, shigellosis, and Campylobacter infections.
