Professor J. Perren Cobb is Professor and Chief of Surgical Critical Care, University of Southern California. He was a collaborator with the former APPRISE Centre of Research Excellence.

Professor Cobb was involved in the launch of an emergency preparedness program in the USA. The program is designed to help hospitals collect, analyse and share data during health emergencies.
