Julie Milland

Profile

Dr Julie Milland is the Communications Officer for APPRISE (0.4FTE). She provides communications support for media releases, social media, digital and other content as required. She is excited to be a part of helping APPRISE communicate its research outcomes to all stakeholders.

Dr Milland has more than 15 years of experience in writing and editing for the health and life sciences public sectors and a Master of Journalism from the University of Melbourne.

She has a research background, with a PhD in biochemistry/molecular biology and was a senior research scientist at the former Austin Research Institute and the University of Melbourne.
