Cameron Simmons

Professor Cameron Simmons is Institute of Vector-Borne Disease at Monash University and Director of the Oceania hub of the World Mosquito Program. Professor Simmons was a collaborator with the former APPRISE Centre of Research Excellence.

Professor Simmons’ research focus is measuring the public health benefits of the Wolbachia biocontrol approach in communities burdened with diseases transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes (eg. dengue, Zika and chikungunya).
