Professor Calum Semple is professor in Child Health and Outbreak Medicine at University of Liverpool and was a collaborator with the former APPRISE Centre of Research Excellence.

Professor Semple’s research focus is on severe acute respiratory infections (especially influenza) and emerging infections such as Ebola virus.
