Alison Barnes

Profile

Alison is a Wiradjuri woman and Registered Nurse who currently works as a Research Officer at Western Sydney University. During the pandemic, Alison was very impressed by the efforts of community and the Community Controlled Health Sector to keep Elders and Communities safe and maintain people’s wellbeing. Alison believes that in the future the best outcomes will be found if we learn to walk together.

Alison is a member of the FIrst Nations Pandemic Research PreparednesS NeTwork (FIRST) Governance Group.
