Pandemic, Epidemic and Emerging Viruses in the Asia Pacific Region

The GVN is a coalition of expert virologists in more than 20 countries, all working to advance knowledge of how viruses cause disease, and to develop drugs and vaccines to treat and prevent infections. GVN brings together world experts in virology to leverage individual strengths and focus global teams of scientists on key scientific problems. This year’s annual meeting will be co-hosted by the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, a joint venture of the University of Melbourne and the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Institut Pasteur, two world-renowned research institutes.
