Sydney summer school in pathogen genomics and global health – at the University of Sydney Nanoscience Hub at Westmead Hospital on 12–16 February 2018.
The summer school offers in-depth training for graduates, researchers, clinicians and public health professionals in translational research in the field of public health pathogen genomics and communicable disease control.
The program includes a mix of keynotes and master classes, practical hands-on demonstrations and laboratory visits.
The summer school will teach the basics of genomics of microorganisms and parasites with epidemic potential and examine approaches to the analysis of genomes in a global health context.
