Health aspects of crises, emergencies and disasters runs from 13–17 November 2017

This UNSW course aims to increase your capacity to operate as a public health professional or healthcare manager in local or international crises, emergencies and disasters.

The next course will run 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, 13 – 17 November 2017.

The course will:

  • develop your knowledge of the healthcare aspects of crises, emergencies and disasters
  • prepare you to assess and respond to such events from the perspective of healthcare services and providers
  • assist you to develop the skills required to work within disaster and complex emergency settings.

The course can be taken as a five-day face-to-face workshop or externally in distance mode.
